Mold!

When you are growing hydroponically you can end up with high humidity.  This humidity and the difference in  temperature during light hours  compared to  off  hours creates mold.  If the temperature drops too much while the lights are off mold will grow.   Follow the suggestions below to keep mold from growing in your grow room.

To eliminate mold you must have proper air exchange.  Keep your room humidity at about fifty percent. Keep the temperature for the light hours at  68 to 78 degrees Fahrenheit and for the dark hours there should be no more than a 15 degree drop in temperature.

Use a sulfur burner;  A sulfur burner can be purchased at your hydroponic store relatively cheaply.  Fill the burner with sulfur.  The sulfur comes in solid pellets, but melts when heated.  The sulfur fumes prevent mold from growing on your plants.
